Roseann started her nursing career with an Associate of Science in Nursing from Queens University in Charlotte, NC, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brookline College in Phoenix, Arizona. She began working as a registered nurse in oncology settings, developing expertise in chemotherapy and biotherapy infusion at Oncology Specialists of Charlotte before advancing her career at Novant Health Outpatient Oncology. The fascination with comprehensive cancer care and the desire to provide holistic patient support led her to pursue her nurse practitioner degree, which she obtained from George Washington University to get her Master of Science in Nursing and eventually became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, FNP.
Her previous experience at Novant Cancer Institute's Hematology and Cellular Therapy division gave her extensive expertise in autologous stem cell transplants, CAR-T cell therapy, and management of complex hematological malignancies. She is skilled in chemotherapy administration, bone marrow biopsies, central line care, and has experience with provider-initiated clinical trials. Roseann is fluent in both English and Spanish.
In her time away from work, she is passionate about advancing healthcare through professional development and education, serving as a preceptor for nursing students and new employees. Roseann helps guide patients through disease management, treatment education, and end-of-life care planning with compassion and expertise. She is also ACHPN certified, which is an advanced certification for Hospice and Palliative care.
