About Us

Your Home for Cancer Care

What Exactly Does This Mean?

Cancer treatment requires many patient visits. We provide an oncology medical home for you during your chemotherapy treatments. Our physicians, nurses, and nurse practitioners at Oncology Specialists of Charlotte are ready to address your wellness and healthcare throughout your patient journey—issues related to your treatment, as well as any other health issues or challenges you may face. Our highly trained staff create the most effective course of action for you while also offering personalized attention which can only be found at an independent practice.

When you are referred to Oncology Specialists of Charlotte, we become your “primary oncologist.”

Why Choose OSC?

Each patient’s case is unique and each patient’s treatment path must be unique as well. As an independent practice, we can do what’s best for you, your family, and your situation. Our physicians understand your individual needs and work with the entire staff to coordinate the right active treatment for you and your health needs.

Does an Independent Community Oncology Practice Make a Difference?

Yes, it does. With an independent practice such as ours, you will receive personalized treatment without sacrificing quality or access to specialty care. We have strong relationships with providers and programs with nationally ranked Duke University Hospital, UNC School of Medicine, Wake Forest, and MD Anderson Cancer Center as well as other academic specialists in the region. Our staff oncologists actively participate in tumor and advisory boards and clinical trials at many leading treatments and research hospitals which gives our patients access to newer treatments not typically available.

Request An AppointmentNew patient appointments require a physician to send a referral request on your behalf. The referring physician can be a specialist you saw who identified an oncology-related condition or your primary care physician
  • New patient: you have a medical condition that is or could be cancerous or a blood disorder
  • Transfer care: you are moving into the area and need an oncologist/hematologist, or you are currently under the care of a local oncologist/hematologist and would like to transfer care to one of our physicians
  • 2nd Opinion: you have been diagnosed with cancer or a blood disorder and would like to get a second opinion on the prognosis and treatment course
  • Former patient: if you have not been to the office in 3 years or more, you will need to get a referral sent in by a physician to re-establish care
