What is your Educational Background?

I went to the University of South Carolina for my nursing degree and then the Medical University of SC (MUSC) for my NP degree. I am originally from Columbia, SC

Why did you choose to work in Healthcare and/or Oncology/Hematology?

I was always interested in nursing. My grandmother had colon cancer and when she was on Hospice she lived with our family and I was attentive to all the nursing care given. At the time I was in high school.

What are your hobbies and interests?

Traveling, family and friends time, reading, and food. I’m a Foodie and I like watching cooking shows.

What can you share about OSC that would be helpful to a new pat?  

You’ve picked a wonderful group to come to for your health needs. All staff guides and helps our patients through their journey

What is your favorite charity?

Junior League of Charlotte. I volunteer with them and we collect for the Second Harvest Food Bank

What is your guilty pleasure?

Sweets!! Dark chocolate, cookies, cake, ice cream, but I’m not much of a candy fan.

What is in your Netflix que?

I like crime shows like CSI. My favorite shows are Ozarks, Behind Her Eyes, Virgin River

Beach or Mountains?

I don’t have to ponder this more than a second…BEACH!

Request An AppointmentNew patient appointments require a physician to send a referral request on your behalf. The referring physician can be a specialist you saw who identified an oncology-related condition or your primary care physician
  • New patient: you have a medical condition that is or could be cancerous or a blood disorder
  • Transfer care: you are moving into the area and need an oncologist/hematologist, or you are currently under the care of a local oncologist/hematologist and would like to transfer care to one of our physicians
  • 2nd Opinion: you have been diagnosed with cancer or a blood disorder and would like to get a second opinion on the prognosis and treatment course
  • Former patient: if you have not been to the office in 3 years or more, you will need to get a referral sent in by a physician to re-establish care

Send the referral form to your physician to refer and ask them to send with the following items:
