Harding, RN, OCN (oncology certified nurse)

What is your background? Where from, Education?
I am a true Carolina Girl, having been born and bred in Columbia, SC. I attended college at the University of SC (USC) and obtained my master’s degree in early childhood education where I taught for 9 years. However, nursing had always been in the back of my mind, so when I mentioned to my husband that I would like to look at going to nursing school he said that I should do it! It was a tough decision to make with a 6-month- old and a 2 yr. old (child #3 came later). I completed the RN nursing program at Atrium Health. Post nursing degree, I started out in oncology nursing at Atrium. I had 2 family members who were coming to OSC for their care and my aunt suggested I check out OSC for an RN job. We know how that suggestion went
