What is your role at OSC?
I am a CMA, Certified Medical Assistant. I have mostly work with Dr. Favaro and his patients for the past 5 years


What is your Educational Background?
Previously I worked at Novant Health as a nurse assistant before I obtained my CMA. All of my medical career has been in oncology.


What can you share about OSC that would be helpful to a new patient?
We are very family-oriented, and this is so important for the patients. They feel like they are a part of us and feel at ease about the care they receive here.


What are your hobbies and interests?
Being outdoors, backpacking. I love to travel! Right now I’ve picked up a new hobby- reading and exploring on how to take care of a baby. Our baby boy is due in December!


What is your favorite charity?
Isabella Santos Foundation, originating in Charlotte when 2-year-old Isabella was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, cancer found in the adrenal glands.

What is in your Netflix queue?
Any true-crime documentary.


If you were to go to medical school and become a doctor, what type of medical doctor would you be?
A surgeon or emergency medicine physician. I am intrigued by trauma cases.


What is your favorite summer activity?
Hiking & kayaking

Request An AppointmentNew patient appointments require a physician to send a referral request on your behalf. The referring physician can be a specialist you saw who identified an oncology-related condition or your primary care physician
  • New patient: you have a medical condition that is or could be cancerous or a blood disorder
  • Transfer care: you are moving into the area and need an oncologist/hematologist, or you are currently under the care of a local oncologist/hematologist and would like to transfer care to one of our physicians
  • 2nd Opinion: you have been diagnosed with cancer or a blood disorder and would like to get a second opinion on the prognosis and treatment course
  • Former patient: if you have not been to the office in 3 years or more, you will need to get a referral sent in by a physician to re-establish care

Send the referral form to your physician to refer and ask them to send with the following items:
